Nicole Shiels

Studio Owner

Nicole has trained with Australia's leading performers and is eager to share her knowledge with her students. She prides herself on being multi-faceted and wants to ensure her students follow suit. She strives to produce confident, well rounded performers, while establishing a safe and exciting learning environment.

Nicole began her teaching career at age 16. She completed her Dance HSC at Kirrawee High School, where she earned "Callback" Nominations for all 3 practical components. Nicole then completed her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management, followed by her Certificate IV in Dance (Triple Threat stream), both at Brent Street. This has enabled her to teach dance at various primary schools, including a regular multi-day position at Darlinghurst Public School since 2015. She is an 'Acrobatic Arts' certified instructor.

Immediately after completing her studies, Nicole went on to sail the seven seas with duo act 'Magic Carnivale' on P&O Cruises. (Yes, Miss Nicole used to get cut in half!)

A highlight of Nicole's career has been travelling to Taiwan to perform as a samba dancer with 'Samba Brazil Entertainment', alongside 20 other Australians. She continues to perform with Samba Brazil on a regular basis.

Nicole has been a professional cheerleader for five years, and absolutely loves performing to thousands of people each game. This has included dancing for the NRL (Wests Tigers, Cantebury Bulldogs), NBL (Sydney Kings) & ABL (Sydney Blue Sox).

Nicole is actively involved in musical theatre productions, which she believes has helped shape her as a performer. Her most recent show is 'Legally Blonde' and her favourite show to date has been 'Hairspray'. She also choreographed 'Aladdin Jnr' for The Regals Musical Society.
