Cara Shiels
Dance Teacher
Cara has been training in various facets of dance from the age of four and studied Dance for her HSC. She began teaching in 2018, including dance & acrobatics classes at Darlinghurst Public School and her love for children has since led her to complete her Certificate IV in Youth Work. She is an 'Acrobatic Arts' certified instructor.
Cara believes the performing arts play a major role in building students' confidence levels and is eager to continue helping her students become their true selves.
Throughout her years of experience, she has developed a strong passion for musical theatre, performing in numerous shows. Her credits include featured dancer in ‘Dreamgirls’ & 'Legally Blonde', with her favourite musical to date being ‘Hairspray’.
Cara has had the opportunity to perform as a cheerleader for 'The Star' for major sporting events including State of Origin and Superbowl. She also performed in ‘Big Dance’ with Sydney Dance Company.
