K-6 SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMP

Suitable for both boys & girls, our camps aim to boost the confidence of all the kids that attend, as they work alongside experienced and patient instructors. We are completely non-competitive & purely base our camps on fun & learning.
During our camp, students will spend the week working towards a performance which friends/ family will be invited to watch on the Friday. The show will combine elements of dance, acro, drama & singing, as each and every student is given a chance to shine.
Students are welcome to join us for as many or as little days as you wish! Even if you are unable to make the show date, or are only looking for a one day camp, we will ensure that each child feels involved in all the fun.

Late pick up available (excluding Friday) until 4pm - $10 per child, per hour

*Any student who wishes to be a part of the performance must attend a minimum of 3 days (minimum 2 days Monday-Thursday, and compulsory Friday.
This is essential to ensure your child feels confident with their content in the performance.

EXAMPLE TIMETABLE
The timetable will slightly vary each day, but here is a sneak peak into a day in the life of a DYNASTY camp kid!
9am - 9:40am Welcome/ Games
We begin the day with group drama games to ensure each student feels comfortable and can begin to meet their fellow DYNASTY camp members in a fun and interactive way.
9:40am - 10:40am Hip Hop
Students will learn some basic grooves, followed by a short routine to a current song. Individuality is strongly encouraged in this class.
10:40am - 11:00am Recess
11am - 12pm Acrobatics
No matter what the student’s prior ability, the acrobatics class is an exciting way to learn tricks! Everyone will have the opportunity to bounce and roll down our 11m air track, which each child absolutely loves. This class will have two teachers spotting students to ensure a safe learning environment.
12pm - 1pm Drama
Imaginations will run wild as students collaborate to create a short drama scene. From an underwater adventure to being famous circus performers, the possibilities are endless! This class teaches the fundamentals of team work as students work together to portray different characters/ emotions. Each student will be given the opportunity to say at least one line.
1pm - 1:45pm Lunch
1:45pm - 2:45pm Musical Theatre
Students will go through a basic singing warm up, and then begin to learn a song accompanied by a little dance routine. Students are encouraged to be loud and proud, as they let out their inner pop stars!
2:45pm - 3pm Revision
Students will have a quick run through of everything they learnt throughout the day.
FAQ
Are parents/ guardians able to sit in on the camp?
During class, we require the students full attention and truly believe they excel without the distraction of added bodies in the class. For this reason, we do not allow anyone other than students, teachers & assistants to sit in on classes.
However, parents/ guardians are invited to join us at 3PM on the Friday for our performance. *Number of audience members allowed will vary depending on COVID restrictions at the time of performance*
If parents/ guardians would like any additional feedback on their child’s progress, we are more than happy to chat with you.
Is food provided?
We kindly request all children bring their own packed lunchbox and water bottle on the day. Recess & lunch breaks will be provided.
PLEASE NOTE: DYNASTY IS A NUT FREE ZONE.
What should students wear on the day?
At DYNASTY we encourage self-expression within our students and are happy for them to wear anything they can easily move in! Please keep in mind students will be rolling around and going upside down, especially in acrobatics, so it is recommended that shorts or pants are worn rather than skirts/ dresses for comfort. Please bring a hat as well.
Can my child be picked up by someone other than myself?
If a student is going to be picked up by someone other than their parent/ guardian, we require an email to be sent prior to the start of each camp day or a signed note on the day.
